Where To Buy TerraLUX TLF-3C2AAEX LightStar220 3-Watt LED Aluminum Flashlight
I bought this flashlight specifically because I was looking for one that can use rechargeable AA batteries, and I was not disappointed! Some flashlights, LED ones particularly, don't handle rechargeables well because they have a lower voltage than alkaline batteries. (One LED flashlight I own won't turn on at all if I put rechargeables in it, even fully charged ones.) But the circuitry in this flashlight means it shines brightly using NiMH batteries, which is a huge plus for me.
And it is bright! The brightest mode practically makes daylight in my backyard, and in fact is too bright for some uses which is why I highly recommend this EX model as it has both high and low modes. The low mode seems somewhat dim but is fine for walking around in the dark while saving batteries.
The only two issues I have with this flashlight are small ones. As others have said, the lanyard attachment is a thin plastic ring; mine hasn't broken, but I'd be afraid to depend on the lanyard at all. And the O-ring that seals around the end cap sometimes gets caught in the threads when the cap is unscrewed, but for those not constantly swapping batteries that shouldn't be an issue.
All in all a solid, powerful flashlight that's a great value too.Get more detail about TerraLUX TLF-3C2AAEX LightStar220 3-Watt LED Aluminum Flashlight.
