On Nokya's packaging, they warn people about whether you're buying Nokya bulbs or a fake item packaged like it; I know nothing about Nokya's reputation, whether they are a top-of-line company or not. I wish I could comment on bulb life, since some colored bulbs have a shorter life than clear bulbs - I've had enough experience about that - but this was a recent purchase to replace an after-market HID light kit using the same yellow 2700K temperature.

With a light weight road bike, it is very fast. With a heavier mountain bike, you have to make sure you are very stable before trying to lift and place the bike on the roof. I use a small kid stool, about 1.5 foot high. This seems to do the trick.

Please note that your gas mileage will suffer. My Civic Hybrid went from 43 mpg to 30 mpg with 2 bikes on the roof. Also note that you will not get into most parking garages. PIAA 1192 Platinum 1100X Super White Dichroic Driving Lamp - Set of 2

I just got these lights installed the other night. They are really bright. I've even had people flash thier high-beams at me (maybe need to do some adjustment there).
For me the installation was very easy since my car already had 55 Watt factory installed fog lights. So I did not use the wiring harness/relay/fuse/switch that came with the lights. I just adapted the factory connectors from my old lights to the PIAA lights so the plug right into the existing wiring.

If you don't already have 55Watt rated system you definitly will want to use the PIAA wiring harness. That's a bit of a hassle and extra work, but the lights are really nice. Very small, if you are looking for small, but don't underestimate the smallness for brightness. Now I'll have to see how they work over time and how reliable they are.

Thule 232 Step Up Wheel Step Immediately

This step is a great idea for those who put their skis/snowboards on the roof of the SUV. We used to stand on the tire itself or on the 2nd row seats but decided there had to be a better way. This step is easy to adjust and feels very stable. Now we don't have to do the gymnastics any more.

Now the bad news. We used it at the house to load up, at the slopes to unload and to reload and then at home again to unload. A weld on one of the buckles broke making the step unusable. The unit is riveted together so there is no way to replace just the broken part. Thule has a good warranty and Amazon has provided great support. Amazon is sending out a replacement. Hopefully the new one won't develop the same problem.
