Ideal replacement for the original. Pretty straightforward to replace although instructions should be included - even if to an online site where they could be downloaded. Cost was a small fraction of that at the VW dealership or at Auto parts shops. Recommend to anyone looking to replace the severely clouded original headlights on a 1999 VW Passat GLS, 5-Spd. Bought this with the side lights so made a tremendous saving on the whole purchase.
"Best price with speedy delivery. Bulbs are clear , bright, and fit well. The only problem I have is that the beam direction adjustment does not work for the side angle adjustment. This occurred with both the right and left headlight. The up and down adjustment worked fine for both."
