On my Honda Pilot the roof box worked great. I was able to carry three sleeping bags, four chairs, a tent, sun structure and a coffee pot and lantern. On the next trip it held 3 out of 4 golf clubs. We experienced some rain on the trip and everything stayed dry. The box had a minimal impact on gas mileage, and road securely.
Might be a good product but I will never know. Amazon uses CEVA to ship large items that is obviously a big mistake. I ordered this on July 13 delivery date the 30, it was shipped out on July 16 made it to PA and then disappeared, how the hell do you lose a box the size of a Smart Car. I contacted CEVA on the July 22 they had no idea where it could be. In this day of high performance shipping companies like FEDEX and UPS just to name a few this company operates like it is in the Stone Age. I can call anyone of the other companies and have a response that minute or they will call me back within 30 minutes. CEVA had from the 22nd to the 27 to find this package, turns out they did not even know its last known location plus I had to initiate all the calls, only once out of those 6 days did they call me back with an update. Amazon needs to branch out to another large package shipping company, because CEVA obviously cannot keep up with the better freight haulers. If I order another large item from Amazon and they indicate CEVA is the carrier I will cancel the order and buy it somewhere else. What is so great about FREE SHIPPING if you do not get it.
