I used two of these to install a 4 panel wink mirror in my 2009 VW MKV GTI and they have been holding up great. I would highly reccomend using this kit to anybody looking to secure a 4 panel or 5 panel wink mirror to their windshield. The best part about fastening your wink mirror to the windshield is being able to retain the use of the visors, where you cant do that if you secure it to the headliner with the normal wink brackets.
Nice product, but critical information missing from the on-line description is found on the enclosed instructions: "2 mounting kits required" for windshield mounting. Just one little detail that some will find disappointing.
